Before you go: Bring these items with you:
• Passport (original)
• Insurance card (CAMT International Insurance card)
• Student ID (recommended)
• Cash or card (to pay first — you will claim later with receipt
Go to the Registration Area
- Upon arrival at Chiang Mai Ram Hospital, go directly to the Registration Counter on the ground floor.
- Present your passport and insurance card to the staff.
- The staff will register your information and create or update your hospital record.
Go to the Information Desk
- After registration, proceed to the Information Desk.
- Ask the staff for guidance about your medical needs or which department you should visit (for example: surgery, medicine, EENT, OB-GYN).
- Confirm where to go next and how to wait for your turn.
Go to the Corresponding Department (on the left side)
- From the Information Desk, go to the corresponding department located on the left side of the ground floor.
- Departments include: ▪ Surgery ▪ Medicine ▪ EENT (Eye, Ear, Nose, and Throat) ▪ OB-GYN (Obstetrics and Gynecology)
- Tell the nurse or staff your name and wait until your cell (queue) number is called.
Consultation and Treatment
- When your number is called, go in for your consultation or treatment with the doctor.
- Follow the doctor’s instructions carefully.
Go to the Cashier
- After seeing the doctor, proceed to the Cashier Counter.
- Pay for the medical services, consultation, or medicine.
- Keep the official receipt/invoice — this is needed later to claim reimbursement from the insurance company.
Go to the Pharmacy
- Take your prescription slip from the doctor or cashier and go to the Pharmacy Counter (also on the ground floor).
- Wait for your name or number to be called.
- Collect your medicine and ask the pharmacist about dosage and usage.
After leaving the hospital
- Make sure you have collected:
▪ Receipt / invoice (official copy)
▪ Prescription slip
▪ Any doctor’s note or medical report
- Keep these documents safe.
- You will need them for the Insurance Claim Process.
